Amitabh,SRK whine over Slumdog Millionaire laurels

Okay, here is what I think.I think all the silly lil Indian Film Industry actors,(esp the ones that have made it big primarily due to plotless, senseless movies revolving around a storyline that keeps the aching Indian public in Denial.) are bitter over the overwhelming recognition of this movie , SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE by the international Award juries..

Amitabh Bachchan esp, this old man, till not very long ago was singing to kimmi katkar(I hope I got that name right) as the mail male lead(even when he started having creaky knee joints and greying hair) ..He was singing to her ,"jhumma chumma de de" which essentially trasnslates roughly into " on my tart, give me a smooch".I think why this creepy lil scene of a romantic pairing of a 40 something man and a 19 something girl appeals to the India public is because India is filled with 40 year old perverted men who fantasize about molesting virgins, that is why..They see these oldies romantically jiggling around with young things and something inside of these men gets satisfied.that is why..Anyways===
And why exactly is 'Sholey' a masterpiece? It is just yet another movie with loud dialogues, and exagerrated actor expressions..Yet , the mindless chauvanistic males from north India(insert, aka raja chouwdary of the Big boss phenomenon) look to these movies( insert: Highly Impractical, highly chauvinistic, excessively loud and pathetically plotless and much far from reality in the Indian context, sometimes foolish remakes from English movie hits which don't fit in the Indian context) for their next denial session..Just So that they can sit there and watch this movie along with other letchering hormone laden men at the theatre and for a moment forget about the dysfunctional family of his own.

Now these Indian so called 'stars', are perfectly aware that their main aim here is to make money by riding on the need for denial.. So be it..They say stupid things on screen , jump around , dance around and gyrate with all that chest thumping motions with starlets much much younger than them( as if there is a dearth of young males in this country) and then they get paid tons of money..done.. I mean if the India public decides to make us stars ,, why not? ok, I agree..done.

NOW TAKE THAT MONEY AND SHUT UP , RIGHT?

DID YOU KNOW THAT AMITABH BLOGS BECAUSE HE GOT PAID BY RELIANCE A WHOPPING 126 MILLIONS JUST TO BLOG EVERYDAY? And the foolish country bumpkins now go and give that website whopping number of hits, with the silly little notion that this old man just writes for them..He writes partly for the moolah, people, get it ..I thoroughly boycott bigadda dot com for that very reason, though, i like reliance in so many other ways for the way they made the cellphone something even villager could afford and use..Now, that is a blog for another day.I am gonna sit and praise the shit of reliance for their cellphone success but for not, they are getting kicked in the butt for the greed that is bigadda dot com. exp amitabh bacchan blog.

coming back to Amitabh Bacchan criticizing that people try and make movies showcasing India's poverty and that oscar is not the highest award.. well, dude, snap out of your own glory , will ya?

I think, the old man is just bitter that he never got to act in the movie.. He is angry that though he had acting potentia l sadly no movie maker decided to use tha t potential.Instead , all he got to do was all those gun weilding VIJAY ROLES , over and over. ( I think he had and has great acting potential and the only movie i saw him do some great acting is in that movie where he plays this role of this palm toddy tapper who makes jaggery out of it--NOW, THAT WAS ONE ORIGINAL MOVIE).

SRK, finally also has joined the ranks of aging men,now using Deepika padukone as his "Letcher bait"in his movie..Yet another 40 s0mething guy shameless acting with a beautiful girl(not woman yet) who prolly got out of menarche a few years ago as her romantic pair..whoa.

SRK and Amitabh, Can you guys stop criticizing this movie will ya?

These oldies now sit and criticize that it is so bad to potray india's poverty in movies and India is not all about poverty..yeah it is not all about poverty , It is also about corruption, ram sena, prostitution and female infanticide..yay !

Dude, this movie is not a documentary..It is a book adaptation.A book of ficition.. as in ,, this it is not a true incident documentary.. do they even get that? It has been made from a book that was written by an Indian..So stop blaming outsiders for always potraying India's poverty.

But honestly , even if someone claimed that this movie is a documentary, well, I agree, it does justice..

THERE ARE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE LIVING IN MUMBAI IN THAT KIND OF ABJECT POVERTY AND YES, SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE DOES JUSTICE IN REPRESENTING THAT POVERTY.

Yes, I am an Indian and i agree that the majority of Indians are poor -farmers kill themselves each year when their crop fails..yes, this is how the MAJORITY LIVES..So, yes, the movie tells the truth in some ways.
But having said, we as Indians have a very varied genetic pool and tons of potential and let us go and tap that potential..But that yet again is another blog entry.
I also think that Amitabh is a little pissed that he got potrayed by Anil kapoor in the movie instead of perhaps he himself potraying himself--that way he could have stood around for the award ceremony photos all smiling and such..I think that is what he is angry.

It is pathetic though, that we as indians see what the director of that movie saw each day..But none of us were inspired enough to make a movie about it..primarily because we are a whole big country living in denial, we want to talk about movies where all they say is things like"gaadi, bangla, rupaya paisa" (cars,bungalow-mansion,money) .Hmmmmmmm......

Amitabh then goes around saying that oscar is not the highest award possible..duh.. what is ? I do agree that national awards in india does a good job of picking great movies..but , then no one bothers to showcase these lovely indiiian movies anywhere except at the film festivals.I for one and many of my friends try hard to find a way to watch all these wonderful indian movies ..hard luck, never get shown on tv.. I think, there are a lot more people in india esp from small towns and villagers who are in a position to understand and appreciate well made indian movies that barely get exposure besides the film festivals.I would highly appreciate if something is done about this , and we get to see more and more of those national award winners.
Speaking of which, Indias Entry to the oscars is this documentary called SMILE PINKY.This is a documentary mind you about the social ostracism associated with cleft palate in the villages. Now , now, I am dying hard to watch this movie, but all we are talking about is slumdog millionaire..that is what we all are..gosh
