Where are the men in the Kingfisher Calendar?


I am sure many of the beer drinkers and the frequent flyers on the Kingfisher airlines are quite aware that Kingfisher brings out an ALL WOMEN oomph calendar.
Well, what use is a calender you might ask?
If you have an account in a bank, you might very well recall that the bank gives out calendars with the name of their bank printed at the bottom of each leaf of the calendar.
The kingfisher calendar is on the same principle.Advertisement of their product. What better advertisement than a calendar that is a permenant fixture on the wall ?
I guess !
I am no beer drinker. I don't drink at all. BUT BUT,
I do travel by air . Kingfisher airlines runs the most classy inland airlines in India.I speak so from personal experience.Go read my old blog about my pathetic experience on an Air India flight. You can find my that old blog in my archives section.
Meanwhile, coming back to the topic on hand, the Kingfisher calender.
I watched this program on NDTV goodtimes, called, THE MAKING OF THE KINGFISHER CALENDAR.
One good thing is, the shots are against a picturesque background. The calender apparently has pretty women in bikinis against picturesque backdrops.. What interests me in this calender is , the picturesque backdrops. I mean, even if there were no women and only picturesque backdrops in the kingfisher calender, I would really like to have a kingfisher calender.They really have gone ahead and shot very tastefully in various exotic locations.TASTEFULLY IS THE KEY.
As far as i have noticed, most indian men are very very socially awkward , they have no decent sexual skills . I think ,this lack of finesse amongst the Indian men has a social reason. They have never needed to use their social skills to find a woman . Why? The marriage market is business like. You advertise on a matrimonial site, what you mention is your income and caste and your height and then boom, the girls send in their so called applications and you take your pick and then get married and boom, no sexual skills needed either. You just fornicate every night like mindless jackrabbits, not really concerned with the satisfaction of your partner at all.
Anyways, coming back to the calender.
SURE , SURE, THERE ARE PRETTY WOMEN ON THE CALENDAR,my question is, WHERE ARE THE BIKINI MEN IN THE KINGFISHER CALENDAR ?
the calendar seems to be also based on this subconscious psyche of the indian male that the indian females don't need appeasing. I mean, their question prolly is, "what? Do indian women really need eye candy?oh ! we thought they are just here to appease to the men , while ofcourse they have to make do with nothing in return in terms of wooing"
How come there are no shapely men on the calendar?
Probably there is business marketing plan behind this too !
I am of the opinion that the Kingfisher calender people are probably of the opinion that only men are their customers or potential customers since the majority of the beer drinkers are apparently MEN in India. You won't believe it but kingfisher sells the most in the smallest of towns where rickshaw drives and truckers drop at the local liqour stores and purchase their weekly quota of kingfisher beer.Then depending on where they are , they get drunk like how a thirsty camel would gulp down water and then either beat up their wives or pay a prostitue for their services. Hmmm. and to think that for years and years the pseudoculture beacons turned a blind eye to the raising alcoholism amongst these local small town men . Never mind that.
Let us get back to the calendar.
So yeah, the Calender makers seem to be of the opinion that since only men drink beer, why not make a calender with just women.
kingfisher also runs an airline and please remember that with more and more women executives who also frequently fly , they must probably get wise and start using the calendar as promotion for the airlines and here the targeted consumers are going to be both men and women.
I REALLY DON'T GET VOYEURISM, SO OFCOURSE, I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF SKIMPILY CLAD WOMEN (OR MEN FOR THAT MATTER) ON A CALENDAR.
But, having said that, If at all there is any sense in pictures of bikini women on a calendar, there sure is also equal sense to have an equal number of bikini men on the same oforementioned calendar too.
Though i don't drink and though voyeurism doesn't appeal to me,, I am asking for a calendar with both men and women ,because i think it is time to get out of denial and accept the fact that women have eye candy needs too. After all, women are part of the same species. If men need eyecandy, i am pretty sure women do too..It is silly to be in denial thinking that women are objects that have no feelings and no sexual needs, they are just sexual objects here for the voyeristic pleasure of men who probably somehow seem to be projected as beings with a disproportionate sexual appetite.
Come on..These are the convenient lies people tell themselves, especially the ugly looking beerbellied smelly hairy men who have no clue how to appeal to a woman. It is time the men get in shape to appeal to women as much as the women of India have been psychologically brainwashed into trying hard at. You know, how young girls in india are preoccupied with bleaching their skins to comform to the common denominator of 'pretty' in india. and for these very same centuries, the indian men have gotten away with dirty skin, ugly faces, smelly mouths and smelly bodies in general. It is very greedy of a dirty smelly potbellied man to be appeased by a pretty young slim woman. so yeah, Unless you are what you ask for , you are just being plain greedy. I am pretty sure indian women have the same sexual needs as the indian men, only they are told that they don't. And the India women pretend to act like what they are told that indian women are suppossed to be.
P.S: I suddenly realized that the calender is done very tastefully and artisitically when compared to the cheap hip thrusting that goes on in the Indian film industry dance numbers. That kind of hip thrusting in movies depicts a depraved perverted psyche of the indian film goer who tries to get cheap thrills from sexual symbolism rather than straight forward sex talk.
