Valentine's day truly draws inspiration from ancient sanskrit texts !

Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages of the world. Though none of the saffron goons of india really care about surviving sanskrit(though they seem to be quite eager to curb the independance of female citizens of their country in the name of culture).. I am well versed in sanskrit and I love reading old ancient sanskrit plays.
Plays were a popular form of Sanskrit literature back them.
Let us sample a few old indian love stories..Truly, lovers meeting in secret, was so common back then,a true hallmark of ancient india dating practices..Now, anyone who has read the scriptures would instantly understand that lovers and their rendezvous were very common back then.
Infact , even sita mata got married to Lord Rama during a swayamvar ceremony.
SWAYAMVAR literally translates into one own groom , as in walking around examining groups of suitors and then deciding whom she wants to marry.So, essentially in Ancient India, women were the choosers..they took their pick.Unlike what the goons want us to believe in the stories of Modern day safffron taliban of INdia..
The modern day Saffron extremists are misquoting and misinterpreting Indian culture in their own ignorant manner and looks like they have never read any sanskrit scriptures at all.Here is a sampling of ancient Indian culture.

ofcourse, many of you do know the all so famous 'Kamasutra' which goes ahead and describes in detail the art of sexuality and love making..Need we say more ?
Also a lot of indian scriptures from very old describe madira pan..alchohol consumption.
So, truly, even alchohol consumption is NOT A WESTERN IMPORT AT ALL.
Alchohol consumption has been so far far back in history , that attributing it to the west and modernization is plain ignorance.

Ram sena now dictates that there cannot be valentine's day? what the fockers?

Firstly, Ram sena is nothing but a bunch of cultureless hafta collecting local goonda group who have no real knowledge of Indian culture or anything otherwise either. Now, these goons are being openly supported by the govt and the present chief minister yedyurappa,( who btw immediately needs to be impeached for doing such an undemocratic thing).

Mr.yedyurappa, we as citizens of india and karnataka voted for you and brought you to power so that you can safegaurd our rights as citizens. We didn't vote you into power so that you can then support goons and make us hapless subjects to your dictatorship.

Meanwhile, the goons who got arrested have already been released due to govt backing.This is not acceptable at all. This has further encouraged these goons to somehow think that they can threaten people into doing what they say.The focking morons now want no one to celebrate valentine's day.

What exactly is wrong or obscene about valentine's day? the concept of love, the concept of lovers expressing love for each other is obscene now?How exactly have they come to the conclusion that lover's meeting is UN-INDIAN? Lover's meeting each other is as INDIAN AS IT CAN GET, JUDGING FROM OUR OLD INDIAN SCRIPTURES.

yeah right, did these people ever go and read anything in sanskrit ever?I bet not..Neither do these goons know kannada very well, nor sanskrit , nor english.Nor math, nor science.The ignorant lil morons are just rowdy sheeters with nothing else to do in life. Like they say, An Idle mind is a devil's workshop.

let me give you examples from sanskrit scriptures that truly describe the indian way of life which clearly included lover's meetings.

ABHIGNANA SAKUNTALAM is a sanskrit masterpiece, a love story about shakuntala and her lover, with whom she bears a child out of wedlock.. THAT IS INDIAN CULTURE. MUCH PRIOR TO ALL THESE GOONS WERE BORN ON THERE EARTH.

go read some old sanskrit scriptures and learn , what is in actuality , "indian culture".

LOVE AND MEETING YOUR LOVERS IS MORE SO PART OF INDIAN CULTURE THAN ANY OTHER CULTURE.

Right from MRITCHAKATIKA, another very famous ancient sanskrit piece of work which again describes of women making their own decisions, meeting lovers and having trysts. Even the MAHABHARATA, WHICH CLEARLY DESCRIBES THE "OUT OF WEDLOCK PREGNANCY" OF KUNTI AND the lovers meetings between LORD KRISHNA AND RADHA, APTLY DESCRIBED AS "RASLEELA". All these works and their stories ARE QUITE INDICATIVE THAT LOVER'S MEETINGS WERE NORMAL IN ANCIENT INDIA.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH LOVE AND LOVER'S MEETING. If two people , who are adults, majors, want to meet each other , in a hotel or a street and walk smiling to each other or holding hands , as long as no one else is physically harmed or killed in the process, they are at perfect liberty to do whatever they want to do.

ram seva goons are not the only hindus who get to define hinduism.

I as an INdian get to decide what hindutva means too..I am a citizen of democratic india and i have every right to interpret and practice indian culture as i please. And, according to me, in the land of KAMASUTRA, ABHIGNANA SAKUNTALAM,MRITCHAKATIKAM AND MAHABHARATAM AND EVEN RAMAYAN, EVERY SINGLE SCRIPTURE HAS DESCRIBED AND PRESCRIBED LOVER'S MEETINGS , I as a true sanskrit speaking religion following indian, want to celebrate valentine's day and no one can object to that.

Even sita mata meets rama prior to the swayamvar and desires him.

I AM AN INDIAN AND I AM WELL VERSED IN VEDAS AND SANSKRIT, INDIAN LANGUAGES AND CULTURE AND ALL I AM SAYING IS THAT NO ONE BETTER VOTE FOR YEDYURAPPA AND HIS PARTY AND NEVER SUPPORT GOONS WHO HAVE NO REAL KNOWLEDGE OF CULTURE.

It is my country and i want to live freely in this country.These goons have no right to tell anyone how to interpret indian culture when they themselves know little of it. I should be allowed to make my own decisions.CM yedyurappa is no one and has no right to dictate terms to the very people that voted for him.

The govt needs to be impeached immediately. a no confidence motion need to be passed.I need a new govt that i feel safe under..They are govt servants.They cannot behave like dictators.

If this present govt wants to stay, they better prove to me that they can safegaurd the liberties of women citizens of this state.

No matter what, all women voters, please remember this incident while voting next time.Do not ever vote for people who believe in dictatorship.India is a free democracy and let us fight to keep it that way.The easiest way to ensure that would be to choose non extremist parties who are not religiously talibanized like this, who go around beating women up in the name of culture.
